Valentine's Day has always been special to me. Not because of the gifts and massages, don't get me wrong those are wonderful, but because Harrison and I had our first date on Valentines Day, 2001. This Valentines Day marks the 7th Valentine's Day Celebration we have had Together.This Valentines was a very nice one. I was able to sleep in and woke up to a very wonderful e-mail from my husband. As I was reading the last of part of the e-mail, Harrison walks in the door (on his lunch break) with a heart box of See's Chocolates and 2 balloons. Not just any balloon mind you but a giant singing balloon. That is how you know you are loved. When he is willing to bear the odd stares of passer byers while walking out of the store, because the balloon he is carrying is blaring the song "how sweet it is to be loved by you" .........thanks to the wind. ;)
That evening we went out to Tahoe Joe's Steak House for dinner where I then got my Valentine's Day present. A necklace from Susan Branch. I absolutely adore it! We then walked across the street, so I could buy Harrison an assortment of his favorite See's Candy.This was a very good Seventh Valentine's Day.
